This remote consultation service offers access to our design and engineering expertise. You can take the design to a local technician for implementation or roll up your sleeves and DIY.

🤓 Load analysis. We analyze your specific requirements, such as well pumps, AC, fridges/freezers, appliances, tools, and more, to dimension your solution.

💻 System sizing report. We determine appropriate panel capacity, battery bank size, inverter/charger specs, and future expansion path.

⚙️ Equipment list. We provide a detailed bill of materials (e.g., panels, inverters, chargers, wiring, mounting) with recommended distributor links.

📋 Site assessment guidance. We review your location data (roof or ground mount, shading, terrain, weather patterns, etc.) and recommend panel placement.

✔️ Installation checklist. Step-by-step wiring diagram + safety notes + commissioning checklist to ensure smooth implementation.

☎️ (3) one-hour consultation calls + email support. We discuss your requirements, walk you through the design, answer your questions, and guide the implementation. You can also purchase additional consulting hours at a discounted rate.

👨‍🔧 Installer selection. Off-grid solar is a different beast. An electrician good at regular house wiring may not understand the nuances. As an optional add-on, we help you select the right service provider for the job.

  • You supply your appliance list, usage profile (we provide a simple spreadsheet), photos/notes of your site, and detailed electric bills. We analyze your continuous and surge loads, along with future usage potential, to help you plan realistically.

  • Yes. We provide full specs and documentation so your installer can follow without our direct involvement. We can also remote-coach them for an additional fee.

  • That’s exactly our specialty — we live and breathe such an environment. We consider things like ambient temperature derating, dust mitigation, and durable gear specs.

  • No — the consultation is for design and plan. You get a “shopping list” with links as part of the service, but the core service is the design package. We do offer full-service packages for customers in the Caliente/Tehachapi/Bakersfield area.
